Time: Wednesdays at 6.30pm (Please arrive in time ready to sing at 6.30pm).
Term Dates: 19 April 2023 to 24 May (half term on 31 May) then 7 June to 12 July.
Fees: Special Offer! As agreed at our AGM, the session fees for the rest of 2023 are only £25 for each half-term, payable in advance. We regularly review our fees with the aim of keeping them as low as possible just to cover our costs (see our Members Fees Policy).
Venue: The Main Hall, Park Primary School, Glebe Way, Histon CB24 9AQ. There are plenty of parking spaces and bicycle racks. Please use the main reception door.
New Members: you must contact us in advance as a music pack will be provided for you on your first evening.
All of our sheet music can be found at the Sheet Music page and the practice audio tracks can be found for each of the soprano, alto or baritone voices by following these links.
Signing Up:
It is important that all members sign up prior to their first session. We can’t accept new members turning up speculatively, so please book your place before you arrive. Signing up is very easy! There are just 3 steps:
• Read our Covid-19 Information Sheet on the website
• Fill in the simple online form at Member Form
• Pay your fees (see amount above)
Please note that fees should be paid to our original bank account, as below:
Name: The Impingtones
Sort Code: 202037
Account Number: 93836657
Reference: your name – this is very important!
If you are a new member coming for a free taster session, you will not need to pay until after that session. Once you have paid, a full music pack will be prepared for you.
Keeping everyone safe:
Although the situation is different from previous years, COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses are still with us and we need to be aware of our responsibilities to keep one another safe. We have carried out a very detailed Risk Assessment and produced an Information Sheet to guide the signing up process which sets out what is expected at every choir session.
Note that, in the hopefully unlikely event of further pandemic outbreaks, we are able to run simultaneous in-person singing and live Zoom (that’s right, it’s Room or Zoom) from the Park Primary School Hall. Although we are currently only running sessions in the school hall, the zoom details can be found on our Zoom Choir page.
